ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Philip! In the Fall, I am joining the University of Zurich as a postdoctoral researcher for Prof. Maya Eden's European Research Council (ERC) Grant on “Non-Utilitarian Perspectives on Population Policy.”  Before that, I was a philosophy graduate student at the University of Southern California.

My main areas of interests are normative ethics, decision theory, and philosophy of economics. I am also interested in topics in applied ethics, political philosophy,  epistemology, and Chinese Philosophy.

Beyond philosophy, time and COVID have simplified my life into three obsessions: history, food & cooking, and coffee.
